Flamboyant politician Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki can win any seat without the support of Deputy President William Ruto, Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut has said.
Last week, Bundotich quit DP Ruto's team citing frustrations from a section of politicians in Jubilee among them Soy MP Caleb Kositany, Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Farouk Kibet.
"Charity begins at home.This afternoon,we had consultative meeting with the great people of Ainabkoi,The emphasis was a political vehicle that will deliver the real aspirations of our people.With alot of humility and respect.
"I take the challenge to steer our people to the journey of economic transformation through Mashinani Party,which was agreed unanimously by the residents who urged me to work hands in hands together with the party leaders for effective service delivery," he wrote.
In 2017, Buzeki narrowly lost to Governor Jackson Mandago and a number of people linked him to Deputy President William Ruto. He was later appointed to Chemil Sugar as a board member.
But Mr Chepkut says Mr Buzeki has already made a network through his businesses and does not need anyone to win any seat. He specifically said that he's not clueless according to a section of Tanga Tanga allied MPs.
"Hon @BuzekiKiprop does not need to be in tanga tanga team for him to be the governor for UG county he stands by his name,he is a business man and has supported and touched the life of many, he is not clueless, by his name he commands and move masses in 2022," he said.
Dr William Ruto is consolidating his Rift Valley support but is facing rebellion from Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto. Ruto is revamping CCM party while Moi is keen with KANU.
