Two people have been confirmed dead after a grisly accident that occurred on Friday night.

The accident occurred along the Mai Mahiu-Duka Moja road.

According to witnesses, a truck rammed into a tanker and burst into flames.

The driver and his conductor perished into the fire.

The accident led to gridlock along the area as rescue operations went on.

“It was a very bad scene.  We spent close to four hours as we feared proceeding past the scene where fire was razing,” Peter Mesut said.
