Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula becomes the latest leader to endorse Raila Odinga's appointment to the African Union.
In a tweet, Wetangula, who recently parted ways with Odinga after working together for six years, maintained that Raila is fit for High Representative for Infrastructural Development in Africa job.
"Congratulations Ndugu Raila on your AU appointment which is well deserved," he said.
Ever since losing his Senate Minority seat to James Orengo, Wetangula has often accused Mr. Odinga for his tribulations.
At s function in Busia recently, Wetangula denied joining DP William Ruto's camp, even after his ally Bonnie Khalwale hinted of a possible partnership between Ford Kenya and Ruto.
"I will not support anybody beyond Luhya land. We have sacrificed for other candidates and it's their time to support us," he said.
Majority of senators allied to Raila Odinga's ODM kicked Wetangula out on claims that he was arrogant and unreachable.
And since then, Wetangula has been walking his own political path, often claiming that Odinga is the worst dictatorial leader he has ever worked with.
