An angry husband attacked his wife and kicked her out of their bedroom after she urinated in bed.
The incident happened on Sunday night at Bomwanda, Bogiakumu in Kisii County.
Douglas Barongo beat his wife, Saraha Nyanchera and kicked her out of their bed after she urinated in bed.
“She has always been pretending that it is our 5-year-old son who has been wetting our bed. Last night she urinated and when I realised the bed was wet I beat her up and kicked her out of the bedroom since where she sleeps was full of urine,” said Barongo.
The man stated that she will not sleep in the same bed with Nyanchera until she stops wetting the bed.
He said he has been buying new beddings for the past one year since mattresses and blankets smell bad and get old faster due to urine.
A Nyumba Kumi official, Albert Nyamote, urged the woman to visit doctors to check if she could be having a urinary problem.
“This should be a disorder which must be looked at by doctors. Nyanchera should plan to visit any hospital of her choice to have her problem solved,” he said.
However, Nyanchera defended herself saying she was in her dreams when she urinated in bed.
