Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i is under more pressure to resign after the new education system (2-6-3-3-3) he proposed was suspended by Education Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohamed.
Victor Swanya, a Nyamira based politician on Thursday said Matiang'i should go home because he started a system he knew will not sail through.
"I am appealing to Matiang'i to accept and go home because the rush he made to introduce the new education system (2-6-3-3-3) was suspended after the government used a lot of money to prepare for its implementation. Parents have already put materials in place for their children but, the suspension has left them stranded," Swanya said in Nyamira town.
The vocal politician allied to Wiper Party said Matiang'i is good at rushing to make decisions but, poor in implementing them.
He said poor parents have been thrown off the balance after several of them had bought learning materials for their children to use next year when the new system was expected to be rolled out.
"Matiang'i should go home before he messes up with the Interior ministry docket again. He is dangerous," Swanya added.
