ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi narrated how he had been sacrificing his past ambitions in support of other political leaders in seeking a common course.
Mudavadi argued that, for a long time, he has shelved his determination to become the president in order to team up with others, who had a similar vision.
"5/5 I’ve always been a selfless leader, ready to support others," Mudavadi noted.
The former Vice President attributed his desire to stand with other political leaders with similar ideology to the formation of National Super Alliance (NASA) in the run-up to 2017 general elections.
He said that NASA was to introduce fresh leadership with the aim to accelerate economic and social development progress in Kenya.
"This led to my founding of NASA as a means to give the country a new leadership that would move the country forward," he said.
He declared his intentions to run for the top seat in 2022 saying that it is time he was given an opportunity to showcase his leadership skills by being supported by other leaders.
"Come 2022,I have decided to throw my hat in the ring so as to get the opportunity to serve Kenyans," he further remarked.
In 2017 elections, Mudavadi was one of the principals in NASA coalition, with Raila Odinga as their flagbearer. They, however, lost to Jubilee.
