A man has become the talk of the internet after he was captured doing funny moves during the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) campaigns for the recently concluded Ugenya by-elections.

The man who is quite of the plus size was snapped dancing and adjusting his belt and trousers in a funny way, as ODM politicians watched in amusement.

The Standard has identified him as Makamu, an ODM diehard who was at some point seen struggling to pull up his trousers above his waist.

However, the fun among ODM politicians and supporters was short lived.

This is after the party succumbed to the rival and little-known Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) party.

MDG candidate and former area lawmaker David Ochieng won the seat after beating ODM's Chris Karan whose 2017 election was nullified in December 2018.

Ochieng managed 18,730 votes, four thousand more than Karan who garnered 14, 507, ironically in an ODM backyard which doubles up as the party leader Raila Odinga's home county.

The loss came as a shock for the Orange party which had initially expressed absolute confidence in defending the position.

It deployed a huge delegation of politicians to realize it.

Other candidates who participated in the exercise were Third Way Alliance Party's Brian Omondi and Daniel Juma of the Grand Dream Development Party (GDDP).
