A day after drama ensued between Njoro MP Charity Chepkwony and former MP Joseph Kiuna over the latter's utterances, locals from Njoro sub-county have castigated the unfortunate comments by Kiuna. They have called for his arrest.Speaking in Ndeffo centre, the residents said that the calm and peace enjoyed by communities in the area for the past 10 years should not be threatened by politicians.“We have had peace in this area and there is no need for someone to incite communities,” a resident said. The residents said criminal should be treated as so and not as community suspect in order to avert acrimony in the future. This comes as the National Cohension and Integration Commisson (NCIC) issued a warning to politicians against making incitement utterances.
