Ford Kenya Deputy Party Leader Boni Khalwale has claimed MPs from the opposition ODM party are planning something sinister against him.
Khalwale who was speaking in Kabras, Kakamega County on Friday said he has received intelligence reports that a section of ODM MPs wants to harm him because of his hard stance on the future of the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.
"I have received intelligence reports that you the leaders of ODM are planning to do something sinister to me," the former Kakamega Senator said.
Khalwale is among opposition leaders who have been calling for the dissolution of NASA saying the coalition has no future.
He began drumming up support for the disbandment of the coalition following the ouster of Senate Minority Leader Moses Wetangula from his prestigious Senate position.
He hit said the Luhya community does not Raila any political debt.
"Stop your cowardice. The Luhya community does not owe you anything. Give us a break because we are doing our politics. Raila's politics of Tialala, Tibim and Ryaa is over, we have refused. We no longer want," added the Senator.
On Tuesday ODM MPs led by Parliament Minority Leader John Mbadi addressed the press at Parliament building where they "attacked" Wetangula and Khalwale for pushing for the disbandment of NASA which they said was stronger than ever before.
