An opposition legislator has attacked Deputy President William Ruto for being the most corrupt Kenyan in the just released IPSOS Synovate report.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi on Wednesday said Ruto has acquired all his wealth through dubious means.
“Ruto claims he is a hustler who has worked hard to get his wealth. The Synovate report ranking him as the most corrupt individual is the true reflection him.
"It is now evident that Ruto is a thief who should not be allowed to hold a public office,” he said.
The Ford Kenya party MP said Kenyans should not risk electing Ruto in 2022 as president.
“Kenyans should ignore Ruto in 2022 and show him the door. If we make a mistake, we shall be in trouble," he added.
According to Kemosi, youthful leaders who have been loitering across the country with Ruto should change.
In the report that was released, Ruto was perceived to be the most corrupt individual leading with 33 per cent while Kirinyiga County Governor Ann Waiguru was second with 31 per cent.
