Orange Democra Movement party says Makadara MP George Aladwa is improving and could be discharged soon.
The outspoken MP who also doubles as the party's Chairman, Nairobi branch, has been hospitalised at Nairobi Hospital since last week.
Party's Executive Director Oduor Ongwen said the first time MP is recuperating well.
"There is nothing to worry about. He is improving and hopefully he will be discharged soon," he said.
On Tuesday, party leader Raila Odinga was among those who visited the facility to monitor his progress.
Details about his health remain scanty with party insiders saying he's suffering from malaria.
On his Facebook page, he said: "Maombi yangu kwa watu wote naomba tusilaumiane juu ya kuja kuniona Hosi mimi ndio mgonjwa na kwa sasa na need tu Prayers Zenyu Kwa wingi for now am recovering well and am feeling BETTER i thank GOD for Healing me in the name of JESUS AMEN SHALLOM."
In Nairobi, Aladwa is one of dependable ODM party soldiers. In January, he's among top leaders who were arrested after Raila's swearing in.
