Among the groups that have been considered 'groups of death' include Liverpool's group, which has France's PSG and Italy's Napoli.

Other English sides have fairly easy groups, with Manchester United put alongside Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys.

Manchester City will face Shakhtar Donetsk, Olympic Lyon and Hoffenheim

Victor Wanyama's Tottenham will face a tricky group after they were pooled together with Spanish giants Barcelona.

Wanyama has very fond memories of playing against the Spanish champions, having played against them in 2012 while still at Celtic where he scored his debut goal in Europe's most prestigious tournament to help the Scottish side seal a historic 2-1 win.

Apart from the Spanish giants, the group has PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan.

Here are the groups;

Group A Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Club Brugge

Group B Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, Inter Milan

Group C Paris St. Germain, Napoli, Liverpool, Redstar Belgrade

Group D Lokomotiv Moscow, Porto, Schalke 04, Galatasaray

Group E Bayern Munich, Benfica, AEK Athens, Ajax

Group F Manchester City, Shaktar Donetsk, Olympic Lyon, Hoffenheim

Group G Real Madrid, Roma, CSKA Moscow, Victoria Plizen

Group H Juventus, Manchester United, Valencia, Young Boys
