West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi Mogaka has said that school heads in his constituency who will be caught engaging in corruption will be arrested and prosecuted.

The lawmaker was speaking in his constituency on Wednesday when issuing cheques worth Sh30 million.

He said the Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji will not spare school heads engaging in corruption. 

“School heads should ensure the money is appropriately used. We shall invite the DPP over the same," he said.

The NASA allied MP assured that he is committed to ensure education in his constituency is given priority and learners excel in national exams.

On the fight against graft, Kemosi urged members of the public to share information with authorities.

“Leaders and the public should fight corruption for the sake of using the funds to fund various projects across the country to boost livelihoods,” he said. 

He called on teachers to work hard as they prepare candidates for national exams.
