People assume cheating to be breaking of trust in the relationship by sleeping with another person behind your partner.
However, in the current generation, cheating is said to be more than either or not physical.
Social media has recently been the main cause of couples breaking up. This is because people use it to be unfaithful.
One doesn’t have to cheat physically, but one is considered to be cheating when he or she associates him/herself in sending flirty messages and intimate photos.
Here are some of the social media habits that indicate one is cheating;
1. Sending flirty direct messages (DMs)
Sending flirty DMs on your Instagram or Twitter to your crush is another way that people cheat. Even though you are safely behind the screen, you are still not as holy as you may think.
2. Following people you want to hook up with
Following someone on social media just because you think he or she is hot is similar to cheating. This act doesn’t differ from that person who cheats physically.
3. Commenting on an ex’s photos
There are some comments that typically prove that you are cheating.
“I wish I was there with you”… such type of comments displays that you’ve not moved on even for a bit.
4. Using sexy emojis
Just because you are not directly using explicit language doesn’t mean that you are clean. Emoji can also be used to paint the real meaning of what you are trying to say.
5. Constantly messaging flirty friends
It is okay for people to seek validation but it becomes weird when each and every time you keep texting friends whom you already know they love nothing but flirting.
