Kenyan rapper Christopher Barton Mamwaya popularly known as Kristoff has let down the University of Eldoret students after demanding for more to perform in the first years’ party.
Initially, the rapper was supposed to hike up the stage in the event that will be held on October 13.
According to the University Entertainment director, Rayson Lempario, Kristoff asked for exorbitant performance fee after their initial agreement.
The artist also demanded a deposit fee within a limited time with could not be possible because the money had to be approved by the institution causing delays.
The rapper did not stop there with his irreducible minimums as he also asked the Entertainment director to pay for his flight to the event.
After considering all these demands, Lempario decided to bring another energetic artist, Dufla Diligon. The dancehall artist has never let this fans and audience down by producing major hits like Biringisha, Tempo, Katapila and so many more.
The Tempo hitmaker is expected to jam the stage and the best part of the performance is that the curtain raisers will be upcoming artists from the Chepkoilel-based university.
The event will be emceed by best MCs in Eldoret; MC Joyrider whose jokes will always crack your rips and the one MC Robbie whose power and moves on stage will leave you mesmerized.
