Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa has now broken his silence over Nigeria’s painful elimination from the 2018 World Cup after their 2-1 defeat to Argentina on Tuesday night.

Marcos Rojo fired home a late winner with six minutes left. Musa who scored a brace for Nigeria against Iceland, however, thanked Eagles’ fans for their support and consistency prayers.
”Thank you for all your support throughout this journey. I thank God for this opportunity to represent my country in the World Cup and compete with the best in the world,” Musa wrote on his Instagram page. ”Although we were not victorious, we fought hard until the very end.

Musa had promised the Naija that they will be back for the cup and nothing less for the next World cup.H e also expressed is love loyalty and endurance to his nation Nigeria.
