Raila Odinga squeezed is ever busy schedule on Thursday afternoon to visit businessman and former opposition politician Nginyo Kariuki at his Kiambu home.
The flamboyant businessman was discharged from hospital recently and is recuperating at him home. He was one of Mr Odinga's comrades in struggle.
"Paid a visit this afternoon to businessman and former opposition politician Nginyo Kariuki at his home in Kiambu, where he is recuperating after recent hospitalization. We wish him a speedy and full recovery," said tweeted.https://twitter.com/RailaOdinga/status/1065622750121865217?s=19.
Earlier, Mr Odinga meet Germany ambassador along with MPs Mishi Mboko of Likoni and Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay at his Capitol Hill offices.
Accompanying Odinga was veteran politician and Senate Minority Leader James Orengo, who apparently played a key role during the fight for pluralism.
Vihiga Senator George Khaniri and his Narok counterpart Ledama Ole Kina, both staunch supporters and lieutenants of Odinga also accompanied him.
Lately, Mr Odinga has been meeting businessmen and leaders from the vast Mt Kenya region, a move with pundits associate with 2022 politics even though he has persistently denied plans to run.
"H. E Raila Odinga has no intention to engage in 2022 succession politics. He's focused in his new assignment as AU special envoy," Dennis Onyango said.
