A section of youths from Gusii have backed President Uhuru Kenyatta's new tax proposals.
Led by Isaac Motari, the Jubilee youth Secretary General, they said the government should have money to run its operations effectively.
"8 per cent VAT on fuel is a good move by President Kenyatta because the government needs money to fund free education, initiate roads among other projects in our country," he said.
The vocal youth leader stated that Kenyans should stop too much complain because the decision by the Head of State is final.
"Those opposing the President should know they can't change anything. It is time as Kenyans we should accept the President decision on fuel tax and move on," he said.
He suggested that the women representative seats and senatorial positions should be scrapped off.
