A storm was kicked off by Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe after he said that the Mt Kenya region has no MoU with the DP over 2022’s support.

Murathe said if there was any agreement between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, ‘hiyo ni yao wawili’.

Speaking at his Sugoi home on Wednesday, the DP said he is not waiting for any endorsement from any quarter.

The DP laughed off politicians who are waiting for any form of endorsement.“There are those hanging around, waiting for endorsements.

How do you expect to be endorsed if you have no agenda or programme for the country?” the DP said.

On the Jubilee presidential ticket come 2022, Ruto said he is ready to battle it out with anybody.

“I am ready to battle with anybody. Let my competitors put on the table what they have done for this country,” the DP added.

The 2022 contender spoke during a meeting of delegations from Bungoma and Busia Counties at his Sugoi home in Uasin Gishu County on Wednesday.
