Senior Counsel Okong'o Mogeni has for the first time spoken about Deputy President William Ruto's increased tours to Gusii region.
For the last two weeks, Ruto toured the vast Gusii region with his latest tour coming on Saturday at Kitutu Chache North and Bobasi constituencies.
But Mogeni, an ODM senator, believes Gusii votes should not worry than his own Rift Valley stronghold.
"There is a problem for him. He's to me wasting time in places like Kisii and Nyamira where his support is insignificant.
"He needs to go back to Rift Valley, I was there and things are getting out of his control. He needs to listen to his people first before coming to us," he said on Monday at AM Live show.
Over the weekend, a section of legislators from Rift Valley accused Mr Ruto of orchastrating maize farming business.
In Gusii, a part from seizing support from a number of MPs, Mogeni and his Kisii counterpart Sam Inheritance have refused to join his camp.
Ruto said: "The boat has taken off and I know my Gusii brothers will join it. We shall overcome in the end together."
