Arafat Noor Abdulahi, the self-proclaimed Aden Duale's son has reached out to the NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula in a bid to boot his campaign team ahead of the Kenya University Students' Association (KUSA) elections set for sometimes next month.
The controversial campus politician has set his eyes on the topmost seat.
In a social media update, Arafat stated that he had reached out to the veteran western politician as he tries to heighten his popularity across the various universities.
"Met with the Western Kenya kingpin Moses Wetangula. He has agreed to back my candidature in the incoming KUSA elections. The future is #luminous," he posted.
He, however, did not divulge more about their meeting but expressed his confidence that Wetangula had assured him of support.
Arafat Noor is a campus politician in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He also hails from Garissa county.
