Kisii County MCAs have been warned against sabotaging development in the county.
According to the county boss James Ongwae, MCAs must work around the clock to serve the electorates.
"MCAs should put the interests of our people first. Those ward reps holding meetings at night in hotels with an aim to embezzle public funds must know the DPP will not spare them," he said.
Mr. Ongwae reiterated that his administration will not condone any form of corruption because the electorates will blame him in 2022 when he will be retiring.
"I am not ready to be cursed by Kisii residents because of the MCAs who will be out to divert public funds into their own pockets," he stated.
The opposition allied governor asked MCAs to stop politicizing development projects in the county.
The governor was speaking on Wednesday in his office on Wednesday.
