A furious Nyamira based paralegal expert and activist Vincent Omao now says he's been to revive contempt of court case against Governor John Nyagarama.
For the better part of this year, Omao took the county government of Nyamira to Labour Relations and Industrial Court where he managed to have several Chief Officers and county secretary Erick Onchana reinstated after spending in cold for months.
But Omao now says he's keen to revive the case since the governor, who was mentioned as respondent, is yet to clear him legal fee as directed by Justice Nduma Nderi.
"He's yet to comply with all court orders including legal fee. I will move to court to have him sent to prison very soon.
"Further, I am aware of fraudulent nomination of his relatives to CPSB, he will also meet me in court. This impunity must stop," he said.
Governor Nyagarama maintains that he was only interested to know the court ruling as a clarification on the 'fundamental lacuna in the law'.
The County Secretary was allowed back to work in September, days before the court ruled in Omao's favour.
Should Nyagarama be convicted upon Omao's application, he will be the second ODM governor to spend days behind bars after Migori's counterparts Okoth Obado.
