President Uhuru Kenyatta's address to the nation is not beneficial to poor Kenyans, a former legislator has claimed.
Protus Momanyi Kebati, a former bonchari MP, said Uhuru is only playing cards with Kenyans with fake promises.
"I have learnt through the media that Uhuru is set to cheat and tell lies to Kenyans today, Friday over the 16 per cent VAT on petroleum products.
"Kenyans should be told the truth that President Uhuru is a joker who should be ignored," he said.
Mr. Momanyi termed the address as fake and called on Kenyans not to waste time listening to it.
"Kenyans should go to their farms and various work places to work for the purpose of getting daily bread."
He said the country is headed to a wrong following the high standards of living.
