Speaking on his twitter handle Thursday, the controversial lawyer maintained that he will beat all odds to return.

This, however, is despite his refusal to reapply for his nationality, one of the conditions placed on him by the immigration department.

The department vowed not to allow him into the nation until he does so after his deportation to Canada early last year.

But he now claims that he is willing to go as far as swimming in the Atlantic Ocean to access his motherland despite government opposition.

He claims that his determination is informed by Kenyans who need him back in Kenya.

The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant who has been advocating for a revolution added that Kenyans have called upon him to return and head the same.

"Thank you to Kenyan patriots, Pan-Africanists and friends of Kenya who have demonstrated through thousands of solidarity messages to me that the majority of our people are ready for a revolution. I'll be in Kenya in April, 2019 even if I have to swim across the Atlantic Ocean," he wrote.

Miguna was deported after taking part in opposition leader Raila Odinga's January 30, 2018 mock presidential inauguration.

His efforts to return were thwarted when he was held at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for days and later redeported.

He has since fallen out with Raila and has been worsening it courtesy of his unending attacks both President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

Whether he manages to return or not only time will tell.
