Nyamira Governor H.E John Nyagarama on Wednesday came to the aid of a needy student who had lost hope to Join form one as admissions set to end on Friday this week across the country.
Philemon Sagwe who had lost hope in joining Kisii School for his Secondary education scored 380 marks from Menengai Primary School in Nakuru in last years K.C.P.E examination.
In a statement, Governor Nyagarama said he has stepped in and has paid his full school fees for the 4 years the needy student will be in Kisii National School.
“I urge all parents who are needy to pick the county bursary forms from the offices of the Ward administrators.” The Governor said.
He added that his government is always committed in driving the education agenda.
The joyful, Philemon thanked the Governor for his kind offer in supporting his secondary education and further promised to make sure he excels in his studies to fulfil his dream of becoming a university lecturer.
