A 26-year-old man has gone into hiding after he was caught having sex with his friend’s sister.
The incident occurred on Friday evening at Kiong’ong’i village in Sameta, Kisii County.
Fred Okemwa said he has been warning his friend Abel Barongo against having a sexual relationship with his sister Doris Kemuma but the warning fell on deaf ears.
“Barongo is my close friend. I realised he has been chasing my sister for sex and warned him but he ignored my warnings,” he said.
Okemwa said that Mr Barongo sneaked into Bosibori’s bedroom where he caught them engaging in sex.
“It was 7pm when my sister excused herself claiming that she was feeling unwell and went to sleep. 30 minutes later I heard screams from her bedroom and went to check on what was happening. I was shocked to find Barongo having sex her,” he said.
Area assistant chief Eric Onderi said Okemwa raised the alarm prompting the suspect to escape.
“Okemwa raised the alarm but the suspect escaped through a window and left behind his touch and sweater. We have launched a manhunt and he will soon be arrested,” said the chief.
He warned men fond of having sex with ladies carelessly, arguing that they should shun the behaviour to avoid contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).
