Addressing journalists in Tala on Monday, Muthama said Wiper party should replace the former East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP  with another person as Ndeti's running-mate since he is not a good person.

Muthama said the party should give Machakos residents a chance to choose Ndeti's running-mate in case the Supreme Court rules that the county's gubernatorial elections be repeated.

"I know Mathuki and he's not fit to be Wavinya's deputy, he's cunning and conniving. He should be done away with as soon as possible, as for Wavinya she's okay," Muthama said.

"The party should ask the electorates to choose who will be the deputy governor in order to ensure there are no mishaps in the future," he added.

Muthama who strongly supports former deputy governor Bernard Kiala being Ndeti's deputy said Wiper party will regret if it fails to heed to his advise.

"It will take only a year for Mathuki to show his true colors, and if Wiper won't heed my advise they will surely regret. I said Governor Mutua isn't good and shouldn't be welcomed to Wiper but no one listened, now I'm saying Mathuki should be replaced," Muthama added.

Muthama vowed to go on a vacation until the by-elections end if Ndeti retains Mathuki as her deputy.

"I didn't vie for the senatorial seat since I didn't want to continue with the fight that I had with Mutua in the past regime. I wasted a lot of money and resources in court, that's why I backed out," Muthama said.
