Most single mothers have been in bad relations or gone through a painful experience she wouldn't want to remember.
As a man if you wish to 'bag' a single mother there are important things you've got to put in mind.
1.Don't compete with the kid for her love
A single mum will love her kid more because she knows the kid has no one else to depend on and any man wishing to get her must accept that the kid comes before him.
If you start fighting for the more attention given to the kid than you, you might even lose the relationship.
2. Don't expect her to fall for you immediately
Every single woman with a bitter past has created a wall round herself to shield her from harm and before you can break past the wall you will have to try your best.
Dating a single mother takes a lot of heart since she thinks every man wants to take advantage of her like the past man and warming up in a new relationship wouldn't be that easy.
3. Accept the kid as yours but don't expect him/her to warm up to you.
One of the fears of dating a single mother is the fear that her child who may be grown won't accept you.
Alot of men fear investing in the kids since they have the mentality that 'this kid isn't mine and will never call me dad'.
If you get a chance to marry a single mum play the dad role to her kid without expecting anything back and with time believe it or not he or she will begin liking you.
Take the kid out for snacks,buy him or her toys,drive them to school and most importantly treat their mum right.
