Isiolo Women Rep Jaldesa Dida made shocking revelations Friday when she stood to speak on the floor of Parliament.
According to the legislator, Garissa Township Member of Parliament pushed some MPs out of Parliament and locked some of them in the toilet.
"The Majority leader came and started pushing people to go out and even he locked some people in the toilet," Jaldesa said.
She claimed that Duale employed tricks to ensure that the House did not have a quorum and thus the VAT bill was passed.
The claims come in the wake of a backlash against Duale for supporting the bill which would see the imposition of an eight per cent tax on fuel and petroleum products.
President Uhuru Kenyatta signed the contentious bill into law Friday.
