Omwando claimed that the party will accept the decision by the electorate in the respective constituencies.

"We will live to accept the electorates' decision. This is not the time we should blame anyone because it was a fair competition where a winner was to be produced," he said.

The vocal politician reiterated that despite the loss, ODM party is still the strongest political party.

He challenged the loser candidates to live a happy life.

"I am appealing to politicians who lost not to lose hope in politics because they will live to fight another day. What God planned won't be changed by anyone. The party will continue laying down strategies towards the 2022 polls," he stated.

Omwando who unsuccessfully vied for Kitutu Chache South parliamentary seat during the 2017 polls defended ODM party boss Raila Odinga saying he didn't impose the candidates to the people of Ugenya and Embakasi South.
