There was drama in Kitui County when a middle-aged man stole a dog, slaughterd and ate it's raw meat.
Kevin Musyoka had in March, 2018 survived for three days without food when he finally decided to steal his neighbor’s only dog to eat.
Musyoka took the dog to the nearest bush where he killed and began to eat it raw.
A neighbor who was grazing his cattle accidentally saw him while he was eating the dog’s intestines and alerted the other neighbors by raising an alarm.
The neighbors responded swiftly to find out what was happening.
To their suprise, they found Musyoka eating raw dog's meat.
Musyoka dissappeared into the bush after he realized the crowd was angry and charging at him.
The locals burried the dog's remains.
"Its like a curse to eat a dog. He didn't cook it but ate it raw. Why? He should have, asked neighbours for food before doing such stupid act", said an angry neighbour.
Not only that, but such incidents have been severally reported in Kenya due to poverty and hunger.
Recently, some residents from parts of Murang'a County were reported to be feasting on monkeys.
Musyoka is at still at large.
