He said that prominent politicians have already been linked to the malicious scheme. Oguna said that President Uhuru Kenyatta's led government will not tolerate land grabbers who will be found guilty of the offence.

He noted that the government has received information that there were retired as well as serving senior police officers who are plotting to grab the said piece of land.

Oguna said that land, which is located along the Kangundo-Nairobi Road rightfully belongs to the State Corporation and warned leaders with ill motives against grabbing it.

Reports indicate that officers from the Ministry of Lands and others from the Department of Coordination of National Government benefit from the scheme. Oguna said that the land grabbers invaded the place on diverse dates between 2012 and 2017 despite the corporation fencing it.

“On diverse dates between 2012 and 2017, a group camouflaging itself as Komarock Ranching and Farmers’ Cooperative Society Ltd invaded the land and sub-divided it into 612 plots. The plots were then offered for sale to unsuspecting Kenyans," he said as quoted by Standard.

He further said that stern action will be taken against those found culpable of any offence in relation to the piece of land.
