Human rights crusader and former presidential aspirant Nazlin Umar has exuded confidence that she will win the presidential election in the much-anticipated 2022 general election.
Umar argues that she has what it takes to win the election in 2022.
The former presidential aspirant claims that she has no competitors and will easily clinch the seat and succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta who is serving his last term in office.
Umar says that 2022 will be the beginning of a new chapter in the country’s politics.
‘‘I am confident that majority of Kenyans have and will make the loud variance between myself and any other persons who may present themselves at the ballot in 2022,’’ she said.
Umar insisted that her background and record speaks for itself.
'‘I will be the Commander in Chief come 2022 because I have the qualities that Kenyans need to vote for me,’’ she added.
Umar says that her leadership will transform the country.
She has vowed to slay the corruption dragon, tribalism, and nepotism if elected president in 2022.
The human rights crusader has also pledged to push for the equitable allocation of resources to all Kenyans if elected.
Umar became the first Muslim woman to contest for a presidential election in 2007 and 2013.
She is vocal on matters human rights and gender issues.
Umar is among top individuals who have so far declared an interest to contest for the presidential seat in 2022.
