Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has backed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s fight against corruption.
Ndeti wants President Kenyatta not to show any mercy to top state officials who have been linked to corruption scandals.
According to the Wiper politician, corruption is a serious economic disease that must be wiped out at all costs.
She said unless it is wiped out, the president will not actualize his Big four agenda among other government's development plans.
“We are behind President Kenyatta and urge him to act fearless and merciless in the war against graft,” dNdeti said.
The former MP addressed the press in Kangundo town on Monday.
Ndeti said corruption has denied Kenyans access to quality services.
“He should extend the same to counties and expose greedy and selfish leaders who are using taxpayer’s money to enrich themselves and their families,” Ndeti said.
Ndeti asked politicians across the political divide to stop politicizing war against corruption and instead support the president.
She urged investigative agencies to move with speed and take culprits to courts.
“We want to see the suspects behind bars and stolen money recovered,” Ndeti added.
President Kenyatta has vowed to tame graft in his government as he seeks to leave a good legacy.
