Kitui Central MP Makali Mulu has exuded confidence that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will clinch the presidency in 2022 polls.
Mulu said the former Vice President has political stamina to contest and win the seat.
“We have confidence in Kalonzo and no amount of attacks targeting him will make us abandon him,” Mulu said.
He addressed the press in Kitui town on Monday.
Mulu said those attacking Kalonzo are envious of his bid to be president in 2022.
He said the entire Kamba nation is confident that the Ukambani political kingpin will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mulu said it is time for Ukambani to unite and stand with Kalonzo.
He said Kalonzo's leadership is what could save the country.
The legislator cautioned Kamba politicians staging personal attacks against Kalonzo.
He said such leaders will no longer be tolerated in the region.
