Rarieda lawmaker Otiende Amollo on Thursday announced his meeting with Sam Dong, the Special Representative of the Coordinating Office of the Luo people.
In a tweet later in the day, the lawmaker noted that international and national developmental issues were discussed during the meeting which as well brought constituency development issues on the table.
Mr. Dong, he said, is the representative of the Luo people drawn from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Congo, Chad and the Central African Republic (C.A.R).

According to Wikipedia, Luos are Nilotic speaking community spread across the continent but with their roots in Eastern Africa, specifically Sudan.
Some of the most known Luo speaking tribes include Joluo of Kenya, Alur and Padhola of Uganda, and Pari, Acholi and Shilluk of Sudan.
Anuak people are considered the Luo of Ethiopia.
