This comes barely a day after she was attacked by a section of the house Members of County Assembly (MCAs) over allegations of being bias.

The members accused her of changing the list of new house leaders, in what culminated in violence and chaos in the house on Tuesday.

Speaking to Radio Ramogi from Kisumu on Wednesday, Ayoo claimed that the attack aimed at killing her.

She claimed that some of the members confronted her with weapons, a demonstration that they had bad intentions.

"When I was making an announcement, before I even finished, some MCAs came to where I was standing and started beating me up.

" The manner in which I was accosted, with some even wielding knives, shows that some of them had ulterior motives, specifically to kill me,” she is quoted.

She noted that she has since recorded a statement on the same at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kisumu.

The Speaker who is now claiming that female MCAs are the target also called upon the Orange Democratic Movement to intervene.

She also urged the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) to aid in bringing peace in the house.

"Women MCAs are now operating in fear because the men have overpowered us and are beating us left, right, and center.

" I have already recorded a statement at the police station and I hope they will move swiftly so that the people who have put my life in danger are brought to book," she is further quoted.
