NASA rebel Member of Parliament (MP) Sylvanus Osoro has told off his political rivals.
The South Mugirango lawmaker has said he will not pay any attention to his rivals who are concentrating more on village politics.
The MP noted that he is focused on delivering his pre-election pledges to residents in the constituency.
"I don't have time to continue playing village politics because this is not the right time. 2022 is three years away and it is too early for politicians to be engaging in politics. I'm begging my political opponents to spare me the daily village politics," he stated.
Osoro noted that his close association with leaders allied to the ruling Jubilee Party doesn't mean he has forgotten his roles as an MP.
The vocal legislator further said every leader has a right to approach things differently for the sake of development.
"I decided to work with everyone including Jubilee leaders so that I can bring development to the people of South Mugirango. If my rivals are not egocentric let them join me to make sure the constituency shines in matters development," said Osoro.
The MP was speaking on Tuesday at Marongo Primary School in Boikang'a ward.
