Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang' has reiterated that opposition leader Raila Odinga's vision for a better Kenya is still on course.
Speaking on Radio Jambo's 'Mazungumzo Waziwazi' Thursday evening, the lawmaker said the former Prime Minister is still committed to delivering Kenyans to 'Canaan'.
He added that the same will not be hindered by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader's current collaboration with President Uhuru Kenyatta, terming it a slight change of tact.
"Bado tunaelekea Canaan, ni njia tu ambayo tumebadilisha kidogo lakini destination haijabadilika (the journey to Canaan is still on course, its only the route that has changed)," he said.
He further joined his ODM colleagues in bashing Ford Kenya party leader and Raila's co-chief in the opposition's National Super Alliance (NASA), terming his policies disadvantageous to the journey.
He accused the leader who has since embarked on bashing Raila after their recent fallout of shifting Kenyans attention, at a time when they are focused on more important issues.
"Wakenya wasiwe na wasiwasi na watu kama Wetangula ambaye hataki tusonge mbele. Kila mahali kuna watu kama yeye ambao hawataki maendeleo (Kenyans should ignore the likes of Wetangula who are against progress)," he added.
The Bungoma Senator has remained opposed to Raila's March 9 truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta, which has since culminated into among others the current political calm.
