Raila Odinga's undeniable influence in world politics resurfaced on Thursday when he held meetings with three powerful leaders in Ghana.
Mr. Odinga was attending the burial of Kofi Annan, the former UN Secretary General.
And before leaving the country, Odinga held talks with Presidents Nana Addo (Ghana), Alassane Ouattara (Ivory coast) and His Highness the Aga Khan.
"With Presidents Alassane Ouattara of the Ivory Coast, @NAkufoAddo of Ghana whom I paid a courtesy call, His Highness the Agakhan and Mohamed Ibrahim of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation at the state funeral earlier today.
"May the Lord rest the soul of Dr Kofi Annan in eternal peace," he tweeted.
Throughout his tour to the West African nation, Odinga was also manned by an aide-de-camp further raising eyebrows about his role in government.
Recently, Raila played an integral role in brokering deal in South Sudan after years of civil war.
