Borabu police boss Michael Lesmam, while speaking on Saturday during the Mashujaa Day Celebration in Borabu, said male students should shun moving in with such ladies.

"Slay queens are expensive to maintain. I am therefore, calling on male students who have been enrolled in various colleges and universities within Nyamira County to shun slay queens because they may end up using money they have been given by their parents," he said.

The police boss urged parents to ensure they are following up on their children studying in higher learning institutions to curb cases of school fees misuse.

"Parents should pay school fees alone and stop giving the money to their sons who are in colleges. The increased number of slay queens may end up tricking the male students to use school fees on luxury," he stated.

Lesmam assured that police officers will not condone prostitution which is at the peak.

"Female students who have ventured into prostitution should stop before the law catches up with them," he added.
