Laughter and tears were the order of the day at a Kisumu hotel where the fifth edition of the Untold Look Comedy Show was baked.
The popular Lakeside City series comedy that unfolded on Saturday night brought together the top comic and upcoming acts in the laugh industry who shared one stage with the same aim, meeting audience expectations.
Derep Ruoth, Dropa, Kurutu and Afande Sir, Bernard Odiero, Adhis Jojo and Akuku Danger were the main comic acts in the fifth edition of the lakeside Untold Look Comedy show.
Hosted by Kisumu’s finest comedian Simy Kenya who never fails to impress or leaves his fans in awe with his hilarious jokes, ensured hundreds of fans who thronged the venue thirsty for laughter got quenched.
The fifth edition of Untold Look Comedy show which attracted a number of curtain-raisers or upcoming comic acts did not get to its climax until the finest Churchill Show comedians Adhis Jojo and Akuku Danger came on stage.
Adhis Jojo who stepped on stage before Akuku Danger gave her hilarious jokes leaving the participants in stitches and asking for more.
When it reached his time, all fans stood up to dance along with him as he stormed the stage with ‘Weka Weka’ hit song.
The energized, funny Akuku Danger killed it completely by making the audience laugh themselves out with tears rolling down their cheeks uncontrollably, sending the house to the excitement zone.
Well, Kisumu’s popular musician Apesi also ensured fans were entertained to their fullest.
This manifested when he performed his new hit song ‘Kublus’, a song that has attracted multiple followers on YouTube.
The show did not end until Kisumu HIV Activist Winny Goreti spoke over the stigmatization HIV victims are facing, urging the audience to embrace those hosting the virus.
“Being positive is not the end of everything I accepted my status and now living a positive life, taking my medicine. Let’s embrace people hosting the virus,” said Goretti.
The house was sent to silent when she revealed that she was never born positive but was defiled at the age of seven years and since then she has been hosting the virus.
