1. Swahili plate

If you're into coastal cuisine, this is the place to be.

Located along Muindi Mbingu street, the restaurant offers Swahili dishes including; pilau, biryani,wali wa nazi, bhajia etc, at a reasonable price.

With one thousand shillings, you and your date can have a decent meal, and even have change depending on what you decide to eat.

The fancy restaurant recently opened its doors along Moi Avenue and its prices are perfect for dates.

For instance, they have a fabulous offer of a combo of 2 pieces of chicken with fries or rice on the side, for only Sh380 that runs from Monday to Thursday.

If you're into burgers, you'll get them from Sh300.

3. Nick's Grill

Located along Koinange street, the restaurant provides quality and affordable meals, and has good ambiance. 

With Sh500, you can get a fine cut of marinated beef steak, accompanied by fries, coleslaw and spicy kachumbari.

4. Charlie's Bistro

The restaurant has its CBD branch along Wabera street.

It offers various drinks, and cocktails at an amazing price.

If you're planning for an after-work date, this cozy restaurant will give you, and your date a relaxed and memorable experience at a very fair price.

Their happy hour runs everyday from 5pm to 7pm, and all day on Sundays at only Sh500.

5. Java

If it's a coffee date, then you can never go wrong with Java.

You and your date can enjoy freshly brewed coffee at only Sh120, and perhaps go extra with a king-size samosa at only Sh220.
