This follows a statement made by Siaya Senator James Orengo disputing the action by the CJ, saying it was demeaning his independence and personality.

However, Osoro did not take this lightly.

He turned to his Facebook post on Friday and attacked Kenyan barrister James Orengo saying all those were ‘nonsense’.

"It is utter nonsense for anyone to diabolize the attendance of my lord the Chief Justice Maraga in the Gusii Presidential and Developmental tour. I mean, what do people want? Does it mean that when one is in some level of leadership he must act like a 'small god' to befit his position?” He said in his Facebook.

"When one acts in his nature with humility, we complain and call it PR. When one acts bossy with some sense of autocracy, we COMPLAIN and term it as pride. Get it, folks, the CJ attended the Gusii leadership and professional meeting chaired by H.E Uhuru, H.E Dr.Ruto and H.E Rt. Hon Raila at the Kisii school earlier in the day and as a matter of courtesy, when a guest is in your home, felt it wise to accompany the trio alongside other Gusii leaders in a series of developmental rallies,” he added.

This ignited mixed reactions from the residents with some condemning him for the statements although he dismissed them.
