Moi University students are planning to stage a demonstration in Eldoret town on Monday over delayed Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) disbursement of their loans.
The students especially those in their fourth year of studies have not yet received their HELB loans.
Most of the students have been airing their complaints on Social Media but it seemed like their grievances were falling on a deaf ear.
One student named Pontiano Owira, for instance, posted the following message on Facebook;
"Without fear of contradiction we are being lied to. Information at the anniversary towers is that we are not supposed to receive 4.1 disbursements at the moment a statement which is so unfair to those who have not received the money," Part of Owira's post read.

Babu Kennedy, an influential politician at the school, on Sunday evening, confirmed that the planned demonstrations would still take place.
"I am already in West Campus, all student leaders and the comrades within and in the outskirts of Eldoret, we shall have a mass demonstration from West Campus along Kampala highway as from 7:30 a.m," Babu Kennedy posted on his Facebook timeline.
Jeremy Mikanze who is also an influential politician at the school confirmed that the demonstrations would still take place.
Most of the students have expressed their support towards the demonstrations saying it was the only way their cry would be heard.
This is not the first time Moi University students have taken to the streets to express their grievances, early this year, the students also demonstrated against the lecturers' strike.
