A Nakuru MP privy to the details wondered why media has not covered the ugly scene.

“Kwani hamkupata hiyo stori na vile siku hizi mnatuingilia?” the MP told this writer.

According to the accounts of the material day, an MP from Nairobi was engaged into a heated exchange with one of the Personal Assistants of the DP after he heard that those who accompany the DP to his trips ‘get something’.

The youthful MP learned during the meeting that those who accompany Ruto reportedly get between Sh50, 000 and Sh100, 000 during the trips.

He, however, said he has not been receiving the ‘allowance’.

He accused the PA of ‘eating his share’. As the heated exchange went on, he demanded up to Sh1 million for all the rallies he accompanied Ruto to and did not receive anything.

A local daily that got wind of the drama reported that were it not for Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua who cooled down the irked MP, things would have been bad.
