Upon arrival, the ODM deputy party leader, who has declared interest in presidency, was received by his counterpart John Nyagarama and a section of county officials.
Details of his anticipated meeting with ODM officials have been leaked with assessment of the party's general performance in the last elections being on top of his agenda.
"He is meeting ODM officials at Amanzi Hotel Formerly Damside in Borabu constituency after his fund drive at Motagara SDA church.
"We shall discuss on how to empower grassroot officials to revamp the party, general performance of the party in 2017 and effects of handshake in our local politics," said one of the officials who spoke in confidence.
ODM party failed to capture any parliamentary seats in the region despite having produced a governor, Women Representative and three MPs in 2013.
In 2017, the party retained gubernatorial seat, captured senatorial and seven seats out of 20 in the county assembly.
Incidentally, ODM supremo from the county Timothy Bosire, who doubles as the party's National Treasurer will not be attending.
