The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader said that the sacking of Sports CS Rashid Echesa will not change the state of affairs in the slot.

The lawyer cum activist said that Echesa, who was replaced by Former Education CS Amina Mohammed, was only a victim of circumstance.

Mohammed's position was taken over by former Vice Chancellor at the University of Nairobi George Magoha.

He said that the only way Kenya will realize better leadership is when there is a revolution.

“The firing of Echesa, hiring of Magoha and reshuffle of Amina have zero positive impact on the lives of ordinary Kenyans as they are palace gimmicks of one despot against the other. Kenyans need a revolution to sweep all the despots and their collaborators from power,” he tweeted on Friday.

He also said that the Uhuru, who is completing his second and final term in office, only wants to continue with his culture of impunity.

He rubbished Uhuru’s fight against graft as he seeks to leave behind a legacy before he retires from politics in 2022.

He further posited that poor leadership in past regimes was characterized by such changes as the ones Uhuru has embraced in his government.

“Despots hire cabinet secretaries and bureaucrats to perpetuate the culture of impunity; not to perform. Njonjo was made AG 70 years before he became an advocate. Pio Pinto Gama, Tom Mboya and Argwings Kodhek were assassinated due to their competence, effectiveness and integrity,” he said in another tweet.
