There was drama on Wednesday evening at Nyabao village in West Mugirango, Nyamira County after a woman busted her husband in the act with their neighbour's daughter.
Doreen Nyaera said she has been suspecting her husband, Daniel Mokua of having an affair with their neighbour's daughter, Agnes Nyaboke.
Nyaera said she left her house to cut grass for her cows but returned to a shocking scene involving her husband and the young girl.
"I left my husband home and went to cut grass at the farm for the cattle. Upon returning I was shocked to find him naked with Nyaboke doing bad manners in our bedroom," Nyaera recalled painfully.
However, Nyaboke was quick to act and she escaped through the window. Apparently, she had used the same window to get to the house.
"I attacked my husband for disrespecting me by sleeping with Nyaboke. Nyaboke was lucky to escape," she noted.
A remorseful Mokua pleaded his wife to forgive him claiming the "devil" led him to sleep with Nyaboke.
Area assistant chief, Pius Matara called on men to be faithful in marriage.
"Men should learn to be faithful and loyal to their wives. Sleeping with women outside the wedlock is bringing a lot of shame," said Matara.
